Hope all of you are doing well…..
We are doing well, but out obligations are much more.
Ø We have received few suggestions on logo, Chandra (9160003633) is waiting for some more inputs from all of you.
Ø Our website is underway, contact Mr. Kiran (9885963132) for giving any suggestions.
Ø We published pamphlets for old text books and clothes collection and distribution to poor. We got some response, but it is very meager. You can discuss with Shiva (9849866749) for improving our delivery mechanism and how to reach out to people.
In last two months we have got contributions of Rs. 5248 /- (2461 + 2787)
We request you people to send the contributions for the month of June to the below furnished account (When the society got registered we will open account in name of Pragathi Foundation)
In this month Rs. 216/- got credited to our account. Instead of name of contributor in the remarks column, Murali Prasad (my name) is written. Request you to write your name in the remarks column while transferring funds online. Let us know who had transferred that Rs. 216 /- (please mail us).
Our obligations
- School education to poor – Rs. 5000 /- (for 2 students which are discussed below)
- Society Registration costs – Rs. 2000 /- (approx) – It is under process. Contact Lakshmi Pathi (9908974878) for information on this.
- Old books n clothes collection program – published pamphlets – cost Rs. 350 (approx)
We are getting number of requests from needy to support for their education. But we don't have enough resources to meet all the requests.
Cheyutha Foundation is providing financial assistance to 4 children referrred / introduced by us. Apart from those 4 we had many requests, 2 are discussed below.
A child who studied 2nd class in an English Medium school last year has joined in a govt. school due to lack of financial resources. Her mother is little bit mentally incapacitating, leading family by preparing and selling snacks. Her father had left the family two years past itself. She stood 2nd in the class last year. I feel we should support her by providing good education in English medium school. Please send your opinion on it. It will cost us Rs. 2000/-
Another child from Vijayawada, had finished her Kinder Garden is not in a position to go to school further. Her father is drunkard and not cares for family. Her mother is leading family of 4 by doing as home maid in various houses. I feel we should support the child for education.
Similarly we are getting many requests, request you again to increase our network and introduce your friends by sending their mail ids in reply mail.

Welcome all of you to write small inspirational, motivational, and guiding articles on issues like……. Education for poor, Women empowerment, Our vision, Abolition of child labour, Importance of blood donation, Better way to rehabilitate Tamils in Sri Lanka etc.……. so that we will post them in our website and these also useful as directions for our future programmes / activities.

Visit your School
We had spent most of our memorable days in our school. Now our schools may be doing well or not. We know while we are about to finish schooling we are directions less.. we don't know to which stream we have to be in… what paths we have to choose to excel in what areas…. Whether the course I am planning is difficult or can I manage… these doubts are usually in young minds……
So why don't you go to your school and guide the students on their various doubts…. Really they will welcome you as a senior student, and get inspired from you… It is very useful….. Go as a batch of your class mates, as different people has exposure to different areas…… Your teachers will always welcome you, n in fact they are waiting for you… young students and their parents need lots of guidelines from you…. Share your experiences with young minds….
